The prostaglandin analog Careprost Eye Drops is used for decreasing intraocular fluid pressure (intraocular hypertension) and treating open-angle glaucoma, an incurable condition that may result in permanent vision loss. When there are not enough eyelashes (hypotrichosis), this medication is applied topically to increase their length, thickness, and color. The use of this medicine is not recommended for patients under 16 years of age.
